I am very excited to have started my new position as Account Executive with the start of the new year. I am staying local to the Chicago area and will be helping to bring the opportunity of Tree Plotter software to a greater audience. Change is always exciting and I can’t wait to reach out to folks and connect them with new possibilities for managing their trees. The technology available now is amazing — Tree Plotter can assist with tree inventories, mapping, workflow, and data analysis which are all important aspects of maintaining a healthy, safe, and thriving tree canopy.
Urban forestry has become a passion for me. For the past nine years I have been providing urban forestry technical assistance from The Morton Arboretum. The Trolls, created by artist Thomas Danbo, are impressive, but no they didn’t run me off the property! It was time to spread my wings and try new things. I met so many wonderful people working with trees in their communities throughout Illinois. I look forward to connecting again from my new role to make sure that they have the tools they need to successfully build their tree programs.
I am jumping right in to workshops and events with Plan-it Geo! Coming up this winter, after a trip to the home office in Colorado, I will be attending the Wisconsin Arborist Association conference and then the Minnesota Shade Tree Short Course. Also, we will be presenting at the Rainbow Treecare Plant Health Care Symposium for northern Illinois this spring.
I hope to connect with you soon, but in the meantime, my new email is firstname.lastname@example.org and my phone number is 708-683-0982. If you are in the area and want clues on hunting for the trolls, just let me know!
