Growth Marketing Manager
ABOUT PLANIT GEO
PlanIT Geo provides innovative software and services for urban forestry, GIS, and green infrastructure management. Our tools and data help cities, organizations, and consultants plan, preserve, and enhance the urban forest – creating greener, healthier communities.
We’re rebuilding our growth team and looking for a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager to own and execute the programs that drive qualified pipeline and customer activation. While the focus of this role is demand generation, building full-funnel campaigns across channels (especially events, webinars, and email) to attract, engage, and convert prospects; this role will also support full funnel growth, connecting acquisition, nurturing, and retention efforts to fuel revenue.
This is a remote position, reporting to the VP Growth & Success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute integrated demand generation and growth campaigns across email, webinars, events, paid media, and partnerships to drive qualified pipeline and product engagement.
- Build and manage full-funnel marketing programs that attract, activate, and nurture prospects throughout the buyer journey – from awareness through onboarding.
- Manage pre- and post-event campaigns for conferences and webinars – including lead capture, follow-up content, SDR coordination, and performance tracking.
- Partner with consulting, product, and customer success teams to develop campaigns and lifecycle journeys that align messaging from first touch through customer activation.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align campaigns with GTM initiatives, ensuring seamless lead handoff and follow-up.
- Support SDRs with list building, sequence creation, and targeted campaign implementation.
- Lead content creation and assembly, leveraging AI tools, internal subject matter experts, and the in-house designer to produce blogs, case studies, emails, landing pages, ads, and other marketing assets.
- Coordinate external content support or contractors as needed to scale content production and maintain quality.
- Lay the groundwork for scalable campaign processes, documentation, and reporting frameworks as the demand gen team expands.
Performance Management & Optimization
- Own marketing funnel – MQLs, SALs, SQLs, and pipeline contribution – optimizing continuously for performance and ROI.
- Manage and optimize performance across paid channels (e.g. LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) with possibility for contractor/agency support depending on candidate’s preferences.
- Continuously test and refine messaging, creative, and funnel touchpoints through data-driven experimentation.
- As a Hubspot expert, ensure clean data capture, attribution accuracy, and full visibility from first touch through opportunity and customer activation.
- Build performance dashboards and establish repeatable reporting cadences for leadership visibility.
Webinars & Events
- Lead promotion and follow-up strategy for webinars, collaborating with internal experts on topics and content.
- Support major industry events by managing digital promotion, email campaigns, and post-event nurture (not responsible for onsite or A/V logistics).
- Develop templates and workflows for future event promotion and follow-up campaigns.
Lifecycle & Retention Marketing
- Partner with CS and onboarding teams to develop email nurture and in-app engagement campaigns that accelerate time-to-value and retention.
- Support upsell and renewal initiatives through targeted customer marketing and advocacy programs.
- Leverage user and account data to identify friction points and implement retention or reactivation campaigns.
SUCCESS METRICS
- Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) generated
- Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) created
- MQL-to-SAL conversion rate
- Pipeline sourced and influence
- Campaign ROI and channel performance
- Documentation and readiness for future hires (systems, playbooks, and repeatable programs)
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5+ years of B2B demand generation and growth marketing experience in B2B SaaS, tech, or a related industry.
- Expert, hands-on experience with Hubspot and marketing automation tools, including workflows, lead scoring, and attribution.
- Proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue through multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing marketing KPIs to guide decision-making.
- Proficiency in digital channels including paid social, retargeting, and email marketing.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the SaaS buyer journey and customer lifecycle dynamics.
- Experience creating, assembling, and scaling marketing content using AI tools, internal experts, and designers.
- Nice to have: As a remote company, support event logistics by helping store and ship out materials to conferences as needed – this is a nice-to-have responsibility as we recognize some candidates will be limited by where they live.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically comfortable being a one-person growth gen engine while building the foundation for scale.

Associate Software Engineer – Internal Tools & AI Automation
PAY: $75k
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be a member of our engineering team focused on building and maintaining internal tools, automations, and lightweight applications that support operations, technical support, and customer implementation workflows. This role is designed for an early-career engineer who is ready to contribute to production systems while continuing to build foundational software engineering skills.
You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders. The role includes opportunities to explore emerging technologies (e.g. large language models and AI-assisted development tools) and to integrate them into high-impact workflows that improve the efficiency and scalability of our business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Design, build, and maintain internal tools and backend services that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and support internal users across teams.
- Develop and maintain lightweight user interfaces and dashboards as needed to support internal workflows.
- Automate business processes using APIs, webhooks, scripting tools, and cloud services.
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical scoping, and project planning in collaboration with teammates and internal stakeholders.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern software development practices.
- Contribute to deployment, logging, and monitoring of the tools you build, with support from the engineering team.
- Assist in the integration and responsible use of AI technologies (e.g., GPT-based tools) to improve technical support, documentation, QA workflows, and internal search.
- Learn and follow engineering processes including version control, peer code reviews, task tracking, and agile planning ceremonies.
- Communicate progress, ask for help when blocked, and participate in retrospectives and team discussions.
- Support knowledge-sharing and documentation to help scale internal solutions across the company.
Qualifications:
- A foundational understanding of programming, debugging, and version control.
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Interest in backend development, process automation, and/or applied AI tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teammates.

Sales Account Executive
PAY: $130,000 OTE (Salary + Commission) + Benefits (unlimited PTO, 401(k) contribution, etc.)

PlanIT Geo, Inc. is the leading Urban Forestry Software as a Service (SaaS) and Consulting Services company specializing in innovative solutions for urban forestry mapping and management. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Account Executive who will report to the Sales Manager.
ABOUT THE JOB:
You will be our closer. Our Sales Account Executives work with a steady stream of qualified leads in municipal, private, nonprofit, and other adjacent markets to guide prospective customers through product demos. Working closely with a sales team that includes SDRs and a Proposal Coordinator, you will expertly identify the needs of customers and develop proposals that advance their urban forestry goals. When not working active leads or deals, you will be building your own pipeline in a territory that covers half of North America. You will promote the adoption of TreePlotter, PlanIT Geo’s flagship green asset inventory and work management software which is supported by our best in class Consulting Services teams.
In addition to guiding customers through our sales process, a successful Sales Account executive will integrate themselves into the Urban Forestry industry. As a mission driven company, PlanIT Geo requires attendance at industry events and conferences and promotes participation in industry thought leadership.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

COMPENSATION:
Base salary is set at $63,000 with $130K on-target-earnings based on a generous, uncapped commission structure. Customer Support Team Lead

We’re scaling our customer support and services operations to better serve a growing global user base. We’re looking for a proactive, people-oriented Customer Support Team Lead to bring structure, focus, and clarity to how our team supports clients day to day.
This person will help organize team priorities, improve processes, and coach team members across support and professional services to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences. You’ll work closely with the VP Growth & Success to align systems, streamline workflows, and ensure our customers receive the 5-star support we’re known for.
This is a remote position, reporting to the VP Growth & Success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Structure
- Manage and mentor our Customer Support and Professional Services team members, creating clearer roles and accountability across Tier 1 through project work.
- Lead 1:1s, team meetings, and ongoing coaching to support performance and growth.
- Build systems for workload management, prioritization, and team alignment.
- Help redesign the support structure to better separate first-line customer help from more technical project delivery.
Customer Experience & Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day support function to ensure timely, high-quality, and empathetic customer responses.
- Jump in where needed to troubleshoot or coordinate resolutions — while also developing a working understanding of our software, systems, and data workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, GIS Consulting) to resolve complex issues and improve the customer journey.
- Support requirement gathering, onboarding, and training workflows for new customers and internal staff.
- Work with technical specialists to configure and customize software as needed, and bring a willingness to dive deeper into database or GIS-related problem-solving over time.
- Assist with data-related tasks (e.g., reviewing or preparing customer data using Excel or QGIS) and build comfort understanding how data flows between systems.
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge to become a trusted bridge between customers and our technical teams.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Own and refine support processes including ticketing, SLAs, and escalation paths.
- Track key metrics to monitor performance, workload, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve clarity, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
- Implement tools and systems that make it easier to see where the team’s time is going and what’s driving the most impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with leadership to align priorities and communicate progress toward our “5-star support” goal.
- Collaborate with other department leads to ensure smooth transitions from sales to onboarding to support.
- Represent the voice of the customer in process and product discussions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a customer-facing SaaS or technical support environment.
- 1–2+ years managing or leading a team, with proven experience coaching and organizing others.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems quickly.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills — able to bring structure to moving parts and competing priorities.
- Clear communicator, comfortable explaining technical or process concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Experience with ticketing/help desk systems (e.g. Zendesk, HubSpot, Jira)
- Experience building or improving workflows, KPIs, or process documentation.
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience managing a distributed team.
- Second language fluency.
- Familiarity with GIS or mapping tools.
- Background or interest in urban forestry, arboriculture, or sustainability.

Tree Inventory Technician
PAY: $19 – $25 per hour or $39k – $60k per year.
Full-time W2 employment (Inquire for Benefits Package)
LOCATION:
Nationwide – Must be able to travel for three to four weeks straight and stay in hotels/Airbnb’s.
DESCRIPTION:
PlanIT Geo provides professional geospatial consulting services and web/mobile software solutions for Urban Forestry and green infrastructure planning, natural resource analysis, forest management, and related areas. We are seeking one candidate with diverse interests and experience/education in urban forestry, arboriculture, GIS, and technology. Candidates should be motivated, versatile, work well in the private industry under strict time restraints, be able to travel, and have excellent communication skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Collect individual tree x/y locations via mobile tools from aerial imagery while in the field.
- Assess each tree for a wide variety of fields/attributes (e.g. Common Name, Scientific Name,
DBH, Condition, Height, Crown Spread, Insect Issues, Diseases, Defects, Size of Defect, Probability of Failure, Target Frequency, Other Risk Fields, Site Type, Address, etc.). - Provide clients with training in tree inventory software and related data management in a
variety of formats (Shapefile, Excel, Access, etc.).
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- ISA Certified Arborist – must have or be able to obtain within two weeks of hire date.
- Pursuit of, or obtained BS/BA degree in forestry, natural resources, horticulture or related field.
- Ability to ID a variety of North American tree species by common and botanical name (leaf-on and off seasons).
- Ability to ID or quickly learn a variety of defects (biotic and abiotic) for different species of trees.
- Familiarity of plant growth habits and landscape use of common urban tree species.
- Experience in GIS desktop software (ESRI or Open Source; from coursework or other).
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time while using a tablet device safely.
- Flexibility in work hours to meet a quota of trees inventoried per day/week.
- Ability to travel 2-4 weeks at a time, stay in hotels/airbnb’s as needed, and have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to establish/maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, and other industry professionals.
