Description: The South Platte Natural Capital Assessment valuated natural capital (or green infrastructure) throughout the South Platte watershed in Colorado. A diverse team cataloged existing data sources, identified the most important natural assets in the watershed, and then mapped the natural capital and valued the ecosystem services found throughout the South Platte watershed. Resource assessment and decision support tools were produced to assist members of the South Platte River Urban Waters Partnership and other stakeholders with prioritizing future investments in conservation or restoration throughout the watershed.
