TREE INVENTORY SUMMARY REPORT

Kirkland, Washington, USA

PlanIT Geo’s Certified Arborists conducted a complete tree inventory along street right of ways, City parks, and City open spaces. This survey collects important species, condition, and maintenance recommendations for each tree. Company staff of seven arborists have collected data on 50,564 trees.

The most prevalent species identified has been Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) that accounts for 6,826 trees or roughly 13.5% of the total trees we inventoried. PlanIT Geo also created an inventory summary report for the city to further understand the data collected. The city uses its customized Kirkland TreePlotter™ Application to locate trees and identify hazards to collect data to make the proper management decisions.
